Red River rebuilt and repaired water damaged components of the 1964/2016 Möller/Banks/Reuter organ at First Presbyterian Church in OKC. 40 ranks of pipes from the Great, floating Positiv, and Pedal divisions were removed to the RRPOC shop for washing, fitting with new stainless steel tuning collars, and remedial voicing regulation. Several ranks of water damaged pouches and primaries were also removed for releathering. On site, cotton-covered signal and return wire was replaced with PVC-insulated wire to bring it up to code. Water damaged relay cards were replaced as necessary. The Bombarde Tuba underwent repairs to aid with future tuning stability. Cotton-covered signal and return wires on the Swell side were replaced with PVC-insulated wire. The bottom octave of the Swell 8’ Trumpet was fitted with full-length resonators to replace the original half-length resonators. The Five Swell and Tuba reservoirs were releathered as well. The pneumatic tremolos and rusted swell reservoir springs were replaced. With these repairs and replacements, everything was reassembled for final tonal finishing and a completed core tuning of the instrument.
